KARATE CLASSES FOR PRESCHOOLERS
Preschool Karate, designed for children ages three to five, promotes discipline and develops listening skills. Beside basic karate skills. each class consists fun games and physical exercises to help strengthen motor skills, balance, eye-hand coordination, eye-foot coordination, physical fitness and general overall body conditioning. The positive experiences achieved by preschoolers will lead them to build greater self-esteem and confidence.
KARATE CLASSES FOR JUNIORS
Junior Karate is designed for children grade K to age twelve. All students are taught the underlying values of honor, respect and a commitment to peace. The Junior program is fun with a serious, but non-competitive, classroom atmosphere. The body, mind and spirit are strengthened and a non-violent way of life is promoted. Students learn that respect means, "to treat other people and things as you would like to be treated." They are expected to show this respect to everyone and everything in and outside the dojo. This respect must first start with themselves, by always doing the best they can and never harming their own bodies in any way. The principles and values taught in class are one of the most important aspects of karate training. Principles of respect, honor and pride, values of loyalty, compassion and discipline are discussed in class throughout training. The goal of our junior classes is to develop respectful, responsible, confident young adults.
PRIVATE & SEMI-PRIVATE CLASSES

Learn basic karate skills in a non-competitive atmosphere. Karate parties are exciting, safe and full of action! Activites include: Warm-up exercises, basic karate techniques, board breaking, balance drills, bag drills, tug of war, karate drills plus more! Let your child cut the birthday cake with a Samurai sword! One hour of karate and a half hour for food and cake. You supply the party food/drinks and we supply the fun! Parties can be held at the dojo or your party location.
Train the traditional way from a dojo that is recognized and licensed by the Shobukan; an international organization with its headquarters in Okinawa, Japan founded by Master Masanobu Shinjo. The teachings at the Armonk Shobukan are those that have remained unchanged for generations, passed on from teacher to student. Classes teach self-defense, relieve stress and enhance physical fitness.

BOOTCAMP FOR WOMEN
Come in for a great calorie-burning and muscle-building workout while learning basic self-defense and fighting skills. Our martial arts inspired boot camp workouts will challenge every muscle in your body. By rapidly moving from exercise to exercise with little rest in between, you tone and firm your full body while simultaneously getting a great cardiovascular workout. Your core is used throughout the class to stabilize your body by performing perfect karate and boot camp exercises.
Kickboxing/Boot Camp style workouts boosts the body's metabolism to efficiently burn more calories throughout the day, as well as keeps a heart in healthy working condition. The weight-bearing exercises found in boot camp workouts are important in increasing bone density, decreasing the risk of osteoporosis.
All classes are taught by a certified sixth degree black belt. Correct technique is key when doing every exercise to gain results and to avoid injury.
